Make-up Artistry

Say Hello to Jaiya aka The Makeup Ninja

What started as just an obsession for playing dress-up and a flair for fashion inevitably blossomed into her career as a makeup artist and image consultant.

She studied theatrical makeup application for stage, film, and print under the instruction of the founder of Performance Studio’s Nashville and has continued to educate herself in the art of makeup artistry through classes, seminars, and apprenticeships over the last 15 years.

She has learned a lot while working among some of the most amazing artists while freelancing for MAC over the last 20 years and has been a color artist for Sephora Nashville.

She has worked on several projects over the years, including fashion, hair and bridal shows and live stage performances.
She has worked on countless photographer and model portfolio shoots as well as artist promo videos and headshots.
She has experience with independent films, special effects, and character makeup.

Some other areas of expertise include…
personal makeup application,
instruction and image consultation,
pin-up, boudoir, glamour, prom,
black tie events, and bridal.

Jaiya’s true passion and goal is to make women and men feel and look their best, and create stunning images that will last a lifetime.
